Back in 2014, two fresh-faced graduates, Tomas Netusil & Michal Vorac, emerged from the hallowed halls of university, itching for the first business adventure. Their grand plan? To craft their own software products. It did not take long and then reality hit hard—you kind of need money to do that. Cue the light bulb moment: why not build software for others instead?
Since then, NETVOR has stuck to this simple yet effective plan. Sure, you might expect a dramatic twist or a heroic tale, but sorry to disappoint—there’s none of that here. And that’s perfectly fine. While our story may not be Hollywood material, we’ve discovered our knack for software development and our passion for assisting clients with their digital projects. Over the years it turned out that we are actually pretty decent at it - we have delivered probably over hundred projects, we don’t really count it.
Oh yeah, we've been through that phase too, kind of like a corporate puberty, if you can call it that. We spent countless hours pondering what direction to take, making sure we weren't missing out on anything. We've dabbled in everything - blockchain & crypto, AI & ML, AR/VR & the metaverse, big data, you name it. But none of it quite clicked for us. It just did not make any sense to focus on one technology or area when real and impactful use cases have been always so limited.
Don't get us wrong, we're all for embracing new tech, but we're not ones to jump from one shiny thing to the next. What we discovered is that our real passion lies in projects where we can truly invest our hearts. Helping people through technology has always been our thing, leading us to ventures in industries like healthcare, education and nonprofits. So, we've decided to keep our options open, steering clear of tech trends, and instead focusing on delivering top-notch quality and value in those areas.
Everyone who is well-versed in history has heard about the Crusades. We're big fans lately, well, not of the killings, torture, and stuff, but we like the whole idea of crossing borders. You know, that thing when you go to a different country and stick a flag into the ground - metaphorically speaking, just to be clear. So, we've been thinking about it a lot, and we've decided that we will give it a shot. Our compass points to North all the time so there has to be reason for it.
Listen, here's our plan: First, we take the Nordics and then ambush Canada. But no weapons, seriously. It might be a suicide mission, but the idea of a legitimate excuse for a very long summer holiday (shoutout to Sweden) and hearing English with a slight touch of French accent on a daily basis sounds too seductive, sorry (pun intended).
